Class is structured and follows a specific pattern each class. Students will read wildlife books, interact with fellow students, read aloud, and read often. Students are asked to practice the books we read in class as well as focus on skills for the week for 30 minutes to an hour outside of class. These books and skills do not require building on each other. Each class can be taken as a stand alone class.Sight word and skillsare derived from the book we are reading in class. As new books are read, supporting new skills, and build reading confidence.
