Beginning Reader Book Club: African Wildlife Books!
If your child is a beginning reader, they’ll love this class! They’ll enjoy the extensive catalog of wildlife emergent readers and storybooks. HIGHLIGHTS
If your child is a beginning reader, this is the class for them! We’ll be reading fiction and non-fiction wildlife emergent readers and storybooks. We’ll have lots of fun reading about animals with friends while sounding out sight words, reading simple sentences, and learning about wildlife?

- Your child can highlight word(s) and learn pronunciation independently

If your child is a beginning reader, they’ll love this class! They’ll enjoy the extensive catalog of wildlife emergent readers and storybooks. What’s more fun than reading with friends while sounding out sight words, reading simple sentences, and learning about animals? We’ll read, laugh, and learn. Outside of class, your child can login to our online reading platform anytime to enjoy more wildlife emergent readers. We suggest 20 minutes per day.
Students will:
- Practice beginning reading skills.
- Listen to other emergent readers read.
- Answer questions to improve comprehension
- Take turns with their reading friends.
Each week we will read a new wildlife storybook about a different African Animals including: Elephants, Giraffe, Lions, Zebra, Ostriches, Buffalo, Rhinoceros, Cheetah, Crocodiles, African Painted Dogs, Birds galore, and so many more…
